Wilson Goode, Jr.

I believe Councilman Wilson Goode, Jr. is a good brother. I'm sure if he worked in the private sector he would definitely be in a position of power. What I'm not sure about is what he's actually has done for the young black professional. Has anyone met with him? Has he ever picked up the phone to help one of us?

Please someone let me know?

No, seems that he's too busy with his assistant on some island whooping it up! Go to http://www.myfoxphilly.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail?contentId=7557562&version=3&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1 and see for yourself.

As for having blacks in office and having those blacks in office help the black man or woman with jobs or education benefits - lots of luck! THEY ALL KNOW that this city will not help black in skilled labor, the only thing that blacks can do for them on construction jobs is to pick their trash up as laborers. ONCE, only once did I hear Nutter speak on this issue, and he was promptly shut up by Rendell - I saw it on TV! Rendell's face drained and he became pale when Nutter said he wanted to help blacks in construction, went over to Nutter and spoke to him instantly. Never a word was spoken about it again via Nutter. Shame...on them ALL! And they wonder why the crime rate is so damn high in the city of Philadelphia? Lost of hope for their future.
